Business Analyst — Pontiac, Michigan (On-site)

About This Role

Cendien is seeking a Business Analyst to support Oakland County, Michigan's IT and digital services initiatives. You will partner with county departments to gather requirements, document processes, and translate business needs into actionable technical solutions that improve services for residents.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze and document business requirements from county stakeholders
• Facilitate discovery workshops and process mapping sessions
• Create functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria
• Support testing, training and change management activities
• Identify process improvement and automation opportunities
• Communicate project progress, risks and recommendations to leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems or a related field
• 3+ years of business analysis experience in enterprise or government settings
• Strong skills in requirements elicitation, process mapping and documentation
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and SDLC methodologies
• Proficiency with Jira, Visio, SharePoint and Microsoft Office
• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder communication skills
• Local government or public sector experience is a plus
